“Health is more than just the lack of illness – health is aliveness, energy and joy….Health is not just for the body. Health includes the mind, the emotions, the whole person.” Life 101,Peter McWilliams
Dr. Teresa Fuller, M.D., Ph.D., is a double board-certified physician in pediatrics and integrative holistic medicine, and holds a Ph.D. in physiology. She received both her M.D. and Ph.D. at Howard University in 1999 and has been a practicing pediatrician in the Maryland area for more than 15 years. This powerful combination of the pediatric, holistic, and physiology disciplines places Dr. Fuller in a unique position to positively impact your health.
Why holistic medicine? Holistic medicine is an approach to medicine that involves getting to the root causes of illness and supplying the body with what it needs to heal and restore normal function. This is based on the understanding that the body is fully equipped to self-heal when given the proper support. This is much superior to simply covering up the symptoms with medications, and it’s a much more rewarding way to practice medicine.
